Radio Ga-Ga, 6930 USB, 2330 – starting off with threshold audio, slowly strengthning until I was able to catch ID at 2337 into Black Magic Woman.
Voice of the Robots, 6925 USB, 0051-0113* – poor to fair signal from the robots tonight, playing some pops songs, mentioning email contact and a new QSL

Received an email from Andrew Yoder saying he was mailing out my copy of the Pirate Annual 2010 today!
Outhouse Radio, 6925.6 AM, *2301 – Outhouse Radio playing some blues and rock. Poor signal so far here in Memphis. Picking up a bit at 2350 with Monday, Monday then Play That Funky Music.

Pirate Radio Logs – May 1-2

I was able to kick the local QRN I mentioned the other day. The culprit turned out to be a Western Digital ‘The Book’ USB drive, that joker was putting out massive 10 khz wide blobs of noise spaced every 30 kHz from LF to about 20 mHz. Now I can listen to some pirates!

UnID, 6925 USB, 2243 – somebody having audio issues with audio cutting in and out. Black Sabbath songs War Pigs, Iron Man.
UnID, 6955.27v AM, *2314-0000* – carrier with threshold audio heard at sign-on, slowly drifting downward in frequency. Imporved slightly with audible music just before leaving the air at 0000 UTC.
