UnID, 6913.52 AM, 2300 – have been following this one as reported on FRN, although nothing but a carrier all afternoon until bits of threshold audio starting to be heard around 2300. Too much splatter from WYFR on 6915 kHz to make out any details.
WMPR, 6925 AM, 2345 – decent signal, WMPR ID into trance music.
M-A-C Shortwave, 6850.8v AM, 2356 – signal noted at 2356, threshold audio. Much better signal at 0115 re-tune playing Statler Brothers’ Flowers On The Wall as signal had drifted down to 6850.7 kHz. Shout out to FRN and Ragnar at 0126 UTC. Snoopy Vs The Red Baron at 0133 UTC.
Radio Mushroom, 6925 USB, 0103 – poor to fair signal, static levels rather high. Tune in to Guess Who’s No Time, Radio Mushroom ID at 0106 “Nuclear Power Radio” in Led Zeppelin’s Heartbreaker.
Voice of the Beast, 6925 USB, 0142 – poor to fair signal, static levels rather high. Band on the Run, Hey Jude, ID and email address. New station!
Barnyard Radio, 6930 USB, 0201 – great signal at tune in with a news report on Michael Jackson then Don’t Stop Till You Get Enough song with some barnyard noises, ID at 0206 UTC and back to the woman talking about Jackson. Signal faded big time at 0208 UTC!
Radio Casablanca, 6939.9v AM, 0146 – first noted at 0146 UTC with carrier only being heard, audio noticed at 0215 with talk by announcer then playing an oldie vocals. Audio clip from the movie at 0227 UTC, golden oldies, multiple IDs and email address for reports.
Wolverine Radio, 6925 USB, 0245 – excellent signal, playing Jackson Browne songs such as Doctor My Eyes, Rock Me On The Water, Take It Easy. Two SSTV images at the end of the broadcast.
Outhouse Radio, 6925.1 USB, 0348 – good signal, SSTV images, Down On The Corner, Outside My Backdoor, Green River. Multiple SSTV images.
